Guidelines for Establishing Your Club

Steps to Start a
Gavel Club in Oman

To form a Gavel Club, you need a minimum of 20 to 25 students as members. All members should be under the age of 18.

From the group of members, select 7 club officers who will take on various roles and responsibilities within the club.

There is a one-time registration fee of AED 125 and an annual fee of AED 125 . These fees ensure that your club is officially recognized and supported by Toastmasters International. For clubs in Oman, please consider any applicable local taxes or fees in addition to the base amounts.

To get started, obtain the Club Registration Form by contacting omangavelclub@gmail.com.

Assign a responsible counselor to guide and oversee the club's activities. This individual plays a crucial role in ensuring the club's success and alignment with Toastmasters' values.

It is highly recommended to have the support of an experienced Toastmaster to guide your club, especially in its initial stages. If such a Toastmaster is not available locally, the assigned counselor may consider joining a Toastmasters club to learn the procedures and provide the necessary guidance.
